Ely Cambs United Kingdom
Son of John Dixon, aerial photographer at de Havilland during the war. He was famous for sitting out of the back of a Lancaster (where the turret would have been), clutching a 10" by 8" plate camera and wishing vaguely for a parachute. I'm a novelist, author of "Counting the Clouds", the story of a deaf boy who thought in pictures and with an interest in old machinery of all kinds.
